Mensher, Heath

Literary Arts Faculty

Heath Mensher has a BA in English from York College of Pennsylvania, and a Masters Degree in Education from Kutztown University, where he became a member of the Graduate Honor Society and delivered KU’s commencement speech. Mr. Mensher was an active writer and filmmaker in both New York City and Los Angeles for over twenty years, and his short films have been the official selections of many Film Festivals across the country. He worked on "The West Wing" from 1999 to 2002, spending every day on the set at Warner Brothers (from 5am to 1am, Monday through Saturday). He has written for various publications and television, including MTV, VHI, The Grammys, & HDNET, and has worked behind the scenes on over forty feature films and television commercials. Mr. Mensher is a published poet, and has been a songwriter and blues musician since he was a child, remaining active in the music scene in the Lehigh Valley.
