Chair, Math Department & Federal Programs Coordinator
Cyndi Evans is a dedicated educator with over 22 years of experience teaching high school mathematics. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Mathematics from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Scranton. In 2022, she completed a series of graduate-level leadership courses, passed the administrative Praxis exam, and earned her certification in Administration.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Evans has taught a full range of mathematics courses, from Pre-Algebra to Calculus, in New Hope, PA; Prince George, VA; and Stewartsville, NJ. She maintains active teaching certifications in mathematics in all three states, including Level II certification in Pennsylvania.
Currently, Mrs. Evans serves as the Mathematics Department Chair, a leadership role she has held since the establishment of department chairs at the school. Additionally, she is the Federal Programs Coordinator at Charter Arts, where she oversees federally funded programs such as Title I. In this role, she ensures compliance, manages budgets, monitors program effectiveness, and provides staff training—ensuring that federal resources are maximized to support student achievement.
