Brown, Leah
English Faculty
Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, Miss Brown earned a BA in English and Secondary Education in 2021 from Misericordia University, where she delivered MU’s Commencement Speech as the Class of 2021 Valedictorian. She then moved to South West England temporarily for graduate school at the University of Exeter, where she earned an MA in English Literary Studies (specialization in Victorian Literature) in 2022.
Miss Brown is excited to continue working with the Charter Arts faculty and students this year! She anticipates sharing her experiences with her new students and instilling the passion for literature and the arts within them. Outside of teaching, Miss Brown enjoys reading, creative writing, theatre, and baking.
