Join the Charter Arts Music Department for its first Virtual Cafe of the 2020-2021 Season. The department has been producing Vocalist and Songwriter’s Cafe events for over ten years. The events are usually held at Godfrey Daniels, one of the nation’s most legendary listening rooms. Charter Arts is grateful to Godfrey Daniels for their steadfast support of these events over the years, and students look forward to performing there again soon!

Welcome to the Family: A Virtual Meet and Greet for Incoming Music Students and Parents
Please join students and faculty from the Music Department on Tuesday, August 18th at 7 PM for a Virtual Meet and Greet/Q&A Session for incoming music students. Hosted by some of our most dedicated students, this session will be a great opportunity for new music students to see and hear from current students and faculty. Attendees will receive an overview of life as a successful music major at Charter Arts.

You will also have an opportunity to ask questions of both students and faculty. Vocal and Instrumental Majors welcome. Please note, this event is nonmandatory and unrelated to the official school-run orientation meetings. The event will be hosted on Google Meet, and a link will be emailed to all families of incoming students the day before the event. This event will take place in the Corpora Art Gallery.
The annual Wanda & Leo DeLong Honors Recital feature 5 performers selected from the piano studio. Performers are selected by a vote of the music faculty. The honors recital also showcases original piano student compositions. Non-ticketed event.
An open mic opportunity for students at Cafe the Lodge. Contact Mr. Brown if you would like to participate, cbrown@charterarts.org.
A jazz trio will perform on this date. Charter Arts students perform every third Wednesday of the month at the historic Hotel Bethlehem from 4-6 PM. Come out and enjoy some great music.
