The Literary Arts Department of the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, presented in partnership with ArtsQuest, is proud to present Don Hertzfeldt’s stunning achievement, “World of Tomorrow,” in its entirety.

Called “The Best Short Films of the Century,” the “World of Tomorrow Trilogy” (2015-2020) comes from Academy Award–nominated independent filmmaker Don Hertzfeldt. These animated shorts follow Emily Prime and her many clones through three extraordinary science-fictional explorations into memory, family, and the self. Hertzfeldt wondrously foresees the glimmers and the horrors of the world of tomorrow.
This special FREE screening will be interspersed by live Q & A discussions led by the Literary Arts students from The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for The Arts, and will be run like a real film class by our Film Society!
Of the trilogy, Will Leitch wrote, “Simultaneously tragic and hilarious and philosophical and crude and deeply sad and fatalist and yet stubbornly, resolutely hopeful.”
