Literary Arts Majors at The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts study Screenwriting, Introduction to Film Studies, and Advanced Film Theory and Practice during their four year curriculum. The students in these courses produce varied film projects, including the “Ciné-Roman,” the “One Shot Film,” and the final culminating Short Film Project from the Senior Literary Artists.These projects are specially designed to be shot using smartphones, with “no budget/high concept” expectations where writing and vision are paramount. As part of The Greater Lehigh Valley Filmmaker Festival, students and Literary Arts faculty choose a sampling of the most effective works for inclusion in the “Student Block” at the GLVFF. https://www.steelstacks.org/festivals/greater-lehigh-valley-filmmaker-festival/
