Kelly was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. She attended Emmaus High School, received her undergrad degree in Education and graduate degree in Education from Kutztown University. Kelly studied and performed several disciplines of dance since age four and her career culminated as a member of the Joffery American School of Ballet in New York City. She has been dance instructor at some of the finest school’s in the area including Repertory Dance Theatre and Nardi’s School of Dance.
Kelly has taught at several schools in the area including Northwestern Lehigh High School, William Allen, Louis Dieruff, and has previously taught at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. She is returning to Charter Arts after a four-year hiatus during which she spent full time at home with her three children. Kelly has a deep appreciation and knowledge of the Arts as an interconnected existence of communication. She brings to the English classroom an environment dedicated to the dynamic relationship of learning styles, curriculum, literature, and composition. Kelly looks forward to guiding students in their journey to the future through building problem-solving, critical thinking, and rhetorical skills as a holistic art form. Her hobbies include reading, design, dance, and spending time with her family and friends
